She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eugene Dabbs and Nettie Bass Dabbs; her husband Richard Simerson; her siblings, Gene Dabbs, Harvey Dabbs, Van Dabbs, Mary Foster and Libby Dabbs; and her son-in-law Richard Compton.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Compton, Pam Kelley (Mike) and Chris Patrick (Carla); her grandchildren, Frank, Brad, Michael, Brandon, Courtney, Sarah, Jill, Lacie and Summer; her great grandchildren, Kelsey, Nora, Nathan, Natalie, Ella, Hunter, Austin, Jax, Brantley, Bella and Mason; and her siblings, Clinton Dabbs, Patricia Johnson and Gayle Burton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
