He is survived by: his children, Pam Chaney, Kim Baucom (Tony), Nina Hinson (Ritchie Neal) and Todd Hinson; his siblings, Don Wayne Hinson, Colon Williams, Cathryn Medlin and Ruth Hyatt; his grandchildren, Ben Hinson, Danielle Lowder (Jacob), Erica Modzelewski (Derric) and Trevor Chaney; and his great grandchild Charlotte Lowder.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Shiloh Advent Christian Church (3601 Sikes Mill Rd, Monroe, NC 28110). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:45 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
