She is survived by: her son David Couick (Stephanie Couick); her son-in-law Bill McGuirt; her grandchildren, Molly Couick Mauldin (Evan Mauldin), Grace Couick Giordano (Christian Giordano) and Jacob Couick; her siblings, Sonny Parker, Deborah Williams and Darryl Parker; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Couick McAteer (Bill McAteer), Doris Couick Mungo (George Mungo) and Mary Couick. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Every time she talked with those she cared for she always said "I love you" because she wanted that to be the last thing they heard her say- and it was-"In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Pleasant Grove Campground Treasurer, P.O. Box 6, Mineral Springs, NC. 28108.
