She is survived by: her children, Karen Frazier (Harrison), Lori L. Polk of Fort Mill, SC, Michael Polk (Silva) of Dallas, TX, Anthony Barrett of Monroe, NC, Jeff and Jerome Barrett of Marshville; and her siblings, Curtis Polk of Indian Trail, NC, James Polk of Durham, NC, Billy Polk of Marshville, NC, Thomas Polk of Wingate, NC, Frances Crowder of Monroe, NC and Sarah Smith of North, NC.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
