It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Helms Fowler of Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Lee Helms and Myrtle Crowell Helms; her husband Harold Nance Fowler; and her siblings, James Helms, Doris Hinson and Helen Barnhardt.
She is survived by: her children, Andy Fowler (Janet), Ann Maness (Tommy), Kathy Knight (Terry) and Cindy Baucom (Kelvin); her siblings, Paul Helms, Juanita Godfrey and Sarah Swink; her grandchildren, Jeremy Maness (Ashley), Carol Tadlock (Chuck), Kelly Burris (Shawn), Marshall Knight (Andrea) and Kyle Baucom (Jessie); her great grandchildren, Olivia Whitley, Ellis Tadlock, Aubrey Tadlock, Jackson Burris, Cloie Burris, Landon Baucom, Makenzie Baucom, Miles Baucom and Raylan Knight; and her grandchild Cobey.
