We are sad to announce that, on June 5, 2022, at the age of 71, Catherine Alicea (Monroe, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen William Mahacek and Donetta Cinicola Mahacek; her husbands, Robert Figueroa and Lucas Alicea Jr.; and her siblings, Patrick Mahacek and Donetta Mallay (Peachy).

She is survived by: her children, Robert P. Figueroa (Christine), Errol B. Figueroa (Heather), Lucas Alicea III (Valeria), Jennifer L. Livesay and Allison Arce (Benny); her stepson Christopher S. Alicea (Marian); and her sisters, Dolores Mansueto, Ann Marie Tammaro and Sharon DeSimone (Joe). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
