She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Washington Lawson and Etta Haynes Lawson; her husband Paul Mabe; and her children, Rex Mabe and Susie Starnes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Richardson of Pageland and Jane Dixon (Garvie) of Mount Airy. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
