She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay Helms and Ruth Baucom Helms; her husband Vance Clinton Cox; her brothers, Elder Newell Helms (Pat) and Barry Helms; and her sister-in-law Dean Helms.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Clinton Cox and Ginger Cox Mullis (Danny); her brother Bob Helms; her grandchildren, Tori Cox Craig (DJ), Morgan Funderburk (Caroline) and Shelby Funderburk Blalock (Tyler); her stepgrandchildren, Justin Mullis (Chantal), Todd Mullis (Lauren) and Jennifer Wyatt (Shane); her great grandchildren, Teegan Hunter Craig and Dallas Alan Craig; her sister-in-law Carolyn Helms; her close friend Elton Braswell; and her son Mark Broome.
