He is survived by: his children, Edward Helms (Meagan) and Anna Helms; his grandchildren, Natalie Helms and Johnny Helms; and his siblings, John Helms (Terry), James Helms, Hosea Helms Jr., Minnie Sanchez and Margaret Helms (Steven).
