She was predeceased by: her parents, William Corbett Greene and Evelyn Hargett Greene; and her sister Ann Greene Keziah. She is survived by: her husband Douglas B. Austin; her sons, John Austin (Dayna) and Carl Austin (Tammy); her sister Susan Greene Baucom; her grandchildren, Carter Austin (Rachel), Hailey Austin Robinson (Alex), Natalie Austin Sharpe (Waits) and Alison Austin; and her great grandchildren, Harper Austin, Grayson Austin and Charlotte Austin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (6223 Love Mill Rd, Monroe, NC 28110). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:45 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
