It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Henry Thom (Monroe, North Carolina), born in Germantown, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Thom and Elizabeth Haling Thom. He is survived by: his wife Susanne Mical Thom; his children, Bradley, Kyle Thom (Diana) and Scarlet Thom; and his siblings, Wayne, Robbie Thom (Cindy) and Julie Stanczyk (Bob).

He was a man of God and even in his final days he made sure to share his faith and encourage others to believe in God, often telling others he was good-he was headed home!Memorials may be made to Benton Heights Presbyterian Church, 2701 Concord Highway, Monroe, NC 28110.

“I have had the honor to live beside Danny for many years. I am going to miss him and his laugh. I know what a fight he gave, and I am at peace knowing that his fight was not in vain. He got to spend much more time with his family and had the chance to gracefully say goodbye. He was a man of faith and knew that he wasn't leaving for good. he was just going home until we meet him. I pray that God will comfort his family and give them the strength that only He can.”
