He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Mae Stikeleather Stegall of Matthews; his wife Rheina Trexler of Indian Trail; his siblings, Todd Stegall of Indian Trail and Cynthia Stegall of Washington, D. C.; his stepchildren, Cathy Spence, Joy Smith (A. J.) and Paul Lacarta; and his stepgranddaughters, Mia Smith and Paisley Lacarta.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Houston Baptist Church (4405 Waxhaw Hwy, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Houston Baptist Church Missions Fund, 4405 Waxhaw Highway, Monroe, NC 28112, reflecting David's lifelong commitment to helping others.
