Deana Simpson Byrum Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deana Simpson Byrum of Monroe, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Deana has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Dean Simpson and Barbara Hyatt Simpson; and her siblings, Dennis Simpson, Bobby Simpson and Lori Simpson.
She is survived by: her husband Reggie Byrum; her son Daniel Byrum; her grandson Jackson Byrum; and her brother Jesse Simpson (Lori).
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105.
