Debra Rorie Compton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Debra Rorie Compton of Monroe, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2026 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rorie (Bill) and Dot Rorie; her brothers, Harold Rorie and Caroll Rorie (Joyce); and her sister-in-law Linda Rorie.
She is survived by: her husband Jeffery G. Compton; her children, Tiffany Whitley (Lew), William Compton (Kristen) and Phillip Compton (Dea); her siblings, William T Rorie IV, Donald Rorie (Sylvia) and Andrea Rorie; and her sister-in-law Patsy Rorie. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mountain Springs Baptist Church.
