He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ansel Grady Deese and Doris Horne Deese; his wife Wanda F. Deese; his children, Dusty Metreyeon (Karen), Nicole Deese Funderburk (Eric) and Carrie Deese Edwards (Dave); and his siblings, Gary Deese (Diana), Tim Deese (Gloria) and Gail Hyatt (John).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral and Cremation Services - Matthews Chapel (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
