We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2023, at the age of 72, Dennis Wade Funderburk (Monroe, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Carson Funderburk and Susie Doster Funderburk; his parents-in-law, J. C. and Lennie Loyd; his sister Elsie Ruth Rorie; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Rorie and Jack Helms.
He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Loyd Funderburk; his children, Kevin Funderburk (Stephanie) and Kristi Goins (Brett); his siblings, Ronnie Funderburk (Anita) and Mary Jo Wallace (Calvin); his grandchildren, Elijah Funderburk (Kassidy Whitenight), Caleb Funderburk, Emma Goins and Owen Goins; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Helms, Brenda Bass (John) and Wanda Laton (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Wolf Pond Baptist Church, 78 Wolf Pond Church Road, Pageland, SC 29728.
