He was predeceased by: his parents, Beacher Bernard Simpson and Laura Reitha Simpson; his significant other Judy Kay Simpson; and his brothers, Earl Simpson and Don Simpson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Price Macemore (Darren) and Joy Simpson Hedenskog (Jason); his grandchildren, Bradley Price (Sydney), Kaylan Hedenskog, Dalton Macemore, Miley Hedenskog and Levi Hedenskog; and his siblings, Jerry Simpson (Elva) and Jonnie Mae Pierce (late Joe). He is also survived by his family, for being a great father, brother.
