He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Williams and Ellie Williams; his sister Linda Booth; his brothers-in-law, Bobby Booth and Arnold Mills; his father-in-law Billy Cox; his close friend Walt Adcock; and his grandson Eli Nance.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Kelly Nance (Bubba) and Chad Williams (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Levi Nance, Carleigh Williams, Lily Nance and Jaxson Williams; his siblings, Doris Mills of Kannapolis, Harold Williams (Ann) of Wingate and Judy Love of Monroe; his mother-in-law Helen Cox; and his brothers, Ken (Debbie Bess), Roger (Kristi Cox), Tim (Judy Rape) and Doug (Crystal Cox). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
