The passing of Doris B. Winchester of Monroe, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 5, 2025 at the age of 94. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Barnette and Emma Barnette; her brother Herron Barnette; and her pet Gracie. She is survived by: her sons, Lynn Winchester (Wendy), David Winchester (Delane) and Eric Winchester (Grindl); her grandchildren, Josh Winchester (Lesley), Zach Winchester (Kristen), Lauren Griffin (Chase), Grant Winchester (Leslie), Marshall Winchester and Tanner Winchester; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Ryder, Ty, Jax, Kinsley and Gabriela.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeland Memorial Park (1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 2524, Monroe, NC 28111.
