It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Eberhardt Maye of Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Eberhardt and Bernice Eberhardt; and her husband William Reid Maye. She is survived by: her children, Austin Maye (Amanda) of Monroe, James Maye (Leanne) of Unionville and Katie Maye Young (James) of Georgia; her grandchildren, Hannah, Landon, Logan, Abigail "Abby" Maye, Daniel, Emma and Jake Young; her brother Randy Eberhardt; her sister-in-law Lisa Maye Banks of Kannapolis; and her nephews, Cody Banks (Kayla) of Salisbury and Josh Banks of Salisbury.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, 732 Indian Trail Fairview Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
