Elaine Wright Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Wright (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on September 29, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl W. Thomas and Wilma Taylor Thomas; her former husband James; her sister Shirley Thomas Suggs; her brother-in-law Jerry Suggs; and her nephew Wesley Suggs.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Wright; her children, Jacqueline (Blake Aldridge) of Rock Hill, SC and James Eric Weir of Columbia, SC; her stepchildren, Annette Helms (Jackie), Terry Furr (Tim), Sherry Horne (Eddie) and Rob Wright (Reannon); and her brother Landon Thomas (Sherry) of Monroe, NC.. She is also survived by her ten step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask memorials be made to Benton Heights Presbyterian Church, 2701 Concord Hwy, Monroe NC 28110 or to Agape Hospice, 1326 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
