She is survived by: her husband Larry Dale Carter; her sons, Steve Carter (Shannon Morgan) and Tim Carter; her grandsons, Austin Carter, Blake Carter and Cody Carter; and her siblings, Becky Keziah and Dennis Keziah (Lisa).

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Hopewell Baptist Church (420 Hopewell Church Rd, Monroe, NC 28110). A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Lakeland Memorial Park (1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hopewell Baptist Church (Legacy Campus) (420 Hopewell Church Rd, Monroe, NC 28110).
