She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Thomas "Tom" Gunter and Garnet Marie "Marie" Gunter; and her siblings, George A. Gunter, Homer Lee Gunter, Geneva E. Simms and Della M. Richmond.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph W. Forren; her daughters, Valerie Forren Crook (Tommy) and Gaye D. Forren (William Osborn); her sisters-in-law, Mary E. Gunter, Frances M. Baugh and Audrey S. Forren; and her grandchildren, Christopher Crook (Faith) and Lee Ann Davenport (Joseph). She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
