It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Franklin Legrand Drew (Monroe, North Carolina), born in Marion, South Carolina, who passed away on May 22, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Drew and Nora Lee Drew; and his wife Geraldine Taylor Drew. He is survived by: his daughters, Frankie Ellise (Freddy) and Teresa Drew; his grandchildren, Frederic (Laurie), Jennifer Richardson (Brad) and Christy Corum; and his sister Edna.

Due to COVID-19 concerns for safety, the family invites friends to an extended visitation at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112 on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 1PM until 4PM.

Memorials may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, 2301 N. Rocky River Road, Monroe, NC 28110.
