He was predeceased by : his parents, Hilda Oleta Brewer Heath and George Scott Heath, Sr.; his brothers, Wesley Jackson Heath and Luther Brewer Heath; and his nephews, Luther Justin Epps and Edmond Kyle Schlappic.

He is survived by : his wife Karen Long Heath; his children, George Scott Heath, III and Erica Yvonne Courtney; and his siblings, Joseph Crane Heath, Patricia Scott Heath Anderson and Hilda Sandara Coates. He is also survived by two nieces, seven nephews, and seven grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (2518 Lancaster Hwy, Monroe, NC 28112).
