She was predeceased by: her parents, James Paul and Helen Wood Elledge of Wilkes County; her sister Amanda Jane Elledge Smith; and her grandson Noah Elledge Severt. She is survived by: her husband J. L. Swinson of Salisbury, NC; her children, Wendy Swinson Weston (Glenn Weston) of Boomer, NC, Angala Swinson Macy of Monroe, NC, Cindy Swinson Dunn (Scott Dunn) of The Villages, FL, Kimberly Swinson Severt (Greg Currie) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Paul Lee Swinson of Monroe, NC; and her sisters, Molly Ann Dunn and JoRhetta Cash. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
