He is survived by: his wife Nellie Carolyn Turner; his sons, Joel (Sheila) of Monroe and William (Renee) of Camden, SC; his grandchildren, Kristen Jackson (David), Jonathan Hartis (Kayla) and Lauren Roth; his great grandchildren, Hunter Jackson, Asher Roth and Alice Hartis; and his siblings, Earl Reid Hartis (Donna) of Calabash, NC and Cathay Hartis McWhirter of Mooresboro, NC. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
