He is survived by: his wife Laura Houston Ferguson; his sons, Hoyt "Tripp" Malcolm Feruson III (Tammy) and Cameron'Cam" Austin O'Donahue (Laura); his sisters, Judy McKay, Mary Lou Friedman and Martha Herrera; his grandchildren, Evelyn Cathleen O'Donahue and Austin Malcolm O'Donahue; his brother-in-law John "J. B." Houston IV (Sonja); and his close friends, Harry "Bubber" Parks (Mary), Linda Lawrence, Bill Mills and Taft Mills. He is also survived by nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery (1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gordon Funeral Chapel (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
