He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Cauthen and Marjorie Edwards Plyler; his children, Jonathan Edwards Plyler (Janice) of Cornelius and Ginger Plyler Hightower (Jon) of Weddington; his grandsons, Jake Gardner Plyler, James Crawford Hightower and Jack Delk Hightower; and his siblings, Anne Lee and Bill Plyler.
