He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Rankin and Ruth Rankin; his sister Marcia Cherry; and his granddaughter Alexandra Kirton. He is survived by: his wife Connie King Rankin; his daughters, Crystal Norman (David) and Denise Walden (Jason); his grandchildren, Savannah Broome (Logan) and Braxton Kirton; his great grandchild Mason Broome; and his siblings, Paul David Rankin (Marie) and Linda Wilson.
