He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Deese and Gladys Stephens Deese Culley. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Deese; his daughter Michelle Starnes (Ed); and his granddaughters, Christina Kramer (Jake) and Amanda Starnes.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
