He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jefferson Arthur and Dorothy Boothe Arthur; his brothers, Jerry Arthur, David Arthur and Danny Arthur; his nephew Christoper Arthur Goodwin; his niece Julie Arthur Malcolm; and his great-niece Heather Jade Arthur Hodge.
He is survived by: his wife Nikki Arthur; his daughters, Bridgette Brazzell (Jonathan), Rebecca Byrd (Denton), Sylvia Smith (Chatham), Angelica Gagliardo (Anthony) and Tori Spears (Stephen); his brother Kenneth Arthur; his niece Amy Arthur Lowery; and his friends, Jerry Williams and Melody Etherton. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Lakeland Memorial Park (1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
