With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Randolph Campbell (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on July 8, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James Randolph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lizzie McDonald Campbell and James Edward Campbell of Martinsville, VA. He is survived by: his son Jason Campbell (Logan); his grandchildren, Emma, Thomas and William; and his sister Jean Moore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the SPCA of Martinsville-Henry County, 132 Joseph Martin Hwy, Martinsville, VA 24112.
