He is survived by: his children, Robert Reed Gibson (Melissa), Kathryn Gibson Faucett (Tom) and John Heyl Gibson (Colleen); and his grandchildren, Nicole Gibson, Matthew Gibson, Eric Gibson, Tommy Faucett and Brooks Faucett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
