She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Radford Newton Jr. and Connie Jones Newton; and her siblings, Jimmy Newton, Jerry Newton and Debi Cathey.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Thomas Jenkins; and her children, Anson Jenkins (Melissa), Evan Jenkins (Rebecca), Chris Jenkins (Brandi) and Debbie Long (Jeff). She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
