She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry E. Copple, Jr. and Neva Kendrick Copple; and her siblings, Henry E. Copple, III, Martha Barrett and Julia Egleston.
She is survived by: her children, John Austin, Kevin Austin, Barbara Austin and Lia Dickey; and her grandchildren, Dan Austin, Anna A. Harmon, Nick Austin, Wyatt Dickey and Paige Dickey. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Monroe, 109 W. Morrow Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.
