She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson Smith and Daisy Tarleton Smith; and her brother Jerome Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Little of Marshville, NC and Lorraine Carey of Charlotte, NC; and her sister Cecelia Smith Pritchett (Wayne).

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region, 7845 Little Ave, Charlotte, NC 28226.
