With sadness, we share the passing of Jeanette Marie Simpson of Monroe, North Carolina. Jeanette, born on January 20, 1949, passed away on October 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, James Nance, Bobby Craig and Richard Craig. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca DuBose, Rodney Morris, Ben Morris and Sheila Barrett; her grandchildren, Leslie, Gale, Ryan, Jesse, Carrie, Juanita, Hunter and Johnathon; and her great grandchildren, Leah, Eli, Jamie, Lydia, Caroline, Oliver of Mia, CJ, Gianna, Kinsley, Autumn, Silas and Rowan.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe (204 S Main St, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lakeland Memorial Park (1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
