He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse Wilson Couick, Sr. and Marcell Thompson Couick; his wife Shirley Bishop Couick; his children, David Couick of Harrisburg, Tammy Ashley (Lanny) of Monroe, Lisa Ghannam (Saeed) of Monroe and Trina Rabun (Bobby) of Monroe; and his grandchildren, Chris Ashley, Steven Ashley, Jennifer Tutterow, Nikki Bruner, Jessie Griffin, Mike Ghannam and Lauren Ghannam. He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
