We announce the death of Jessica Lynn McKenzie (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 39. Jessica will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her father Rev. Richard Edwin McKenzie; her daughter Makayla Lemmon; and her siblings, Michael Edwin McKenzie and Linda Kay McKenzie. She is survived by: her mother Marilyn Nash McKenzie; her children, Zack Lemmon, Angel Lemmon and Simone Lemmon; and her brother Richard Dale McKenzie of Thomas. She is also survived by four uncles; 19 nieces and nephews; and numerous other special family members and friends.
