With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Austin Mangum (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on May 26, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father O. B. Mangum; his brother Ned Haney (Betty); and his brothers-in-law, Charles Haney and William Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mangum; his children, Jimmy Scott Mangum (Annette) and Darby Shan (Heather); his grandchildren, Dexter Greeson (Brittney), Chelsea Bekolo (Kevin), Dylan Mangum (Jaida), Carli Mangum (Clay), Connor Mangum and Jackson Mangum; his great grandchildren, Camden Greeson, Braxton Greeson and Scottlan Mangum; his brother John Mangum (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Sherrill Haney (Barbara), Hilda Edwards and Pat Haney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
