We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2020, at the age of 83, Jimmy Eugene Holmes (Monroe, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland "Chick" Holmes and Janelle Holmes. He is survived by: his son Gene Holmes; his stepdaughter Linda Morgan; his wife Louella Mae Honeycutt Holmes; his children, Renea Holmes, Amy Hancock (Phillip), Wesley Holmes (Sheri), Mark Holmes (Allie) and Clay Holmes (Anita); his daughter-in-law Joyce Holmes; and his stepdaughter Kathy Madsen (Chris).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Council on Aging, P.O Box 185, Monroe, N.C. 28111.
