He is survived by: his father John La Vine Sr.; his wife Deborah La Vine; his sister Morgana Biddix; his children, Nicole La Vine, Rebecca La Vine, Jennifer Sneed (Richard), Catherine Stewart (Brandon) and John La Vine; and his grandchildren, Brooklynn Cruz, Arianna Cruz, Colton La Vine, Atticus Sneed, Caiden Cruz and Wesley Sneed.
