He was predeceased by: his sisters, Saroba Cash and Joyce Conrow. He is survived by: his wife Cheri Lee Barker; his children, Richard Barker (Amanda Kurtz), Johnie L. Barker II (Christine) and Lissell Currie (James); his grandchildren, Kayla Stewart, Eli Currie, Loralei Barker, Averie Barker, Colton Barker, Zane Kurtz and Olivia Kurtz; and his sister Rebecca Bertotti.
