It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Lee Tarlton (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on August 2, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thomas and Ola Pressley Thomas; and her son Douglas Hayne Tarlton. She is survived by: her daughter Crystal Francile Shearin (Jeff Shearin); her daughter-in-law Dawn Tarlton; her grandchildren, Douglas Hayne Tarlton Jr., Nikki Cox (Michael Hochstetler), Ashley Shearin, Joey Shearin (Kimberly Shearin), Tony Haywood Jr. (Brenda Haywood) and Dale Douglas Haywood; her great grandchildren, Hayden Troutman, Carson Price, Luke Price, JJ Shearin, Santiago Haywood and Destiny Shearin; and her siblings, Larry Thomas, Dennis Thomas, Caroll Thomas, Debbie Privette and Vicky Gause. She is also survived by family members and friends.
