She was predeceased by: her parents, H. E. Sherrill and Ellen Sherrill; and her husband Gene. She is survived by: her children, Steve Walter (Jimmie) of Waxhaw, NC and Terry Walter McRee (Brad); her sisters, Elsie Harkins of Canton, NC and Sue Waters of Concord, NC.; and her grandson Cayse Logan McRee (Jackie) of Hickory, NC..
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (302 E Windsor St, Monroe, NC 28112).
