She was predeceased by: her parents, Carnie Benjamin Brooks and Leona Helms Brooks; her husbands, Reno Philemon, W. L. King, Graham Edwards and John Baker; her son Dale Philemon; her siblings, Keith Brooks, Lillian Tetro, Nelson Mullis, Addison Brooks, John Vann Brooks and Perry Brooks; her daughter-in-law Becky Philemon; and her great grandchild Krista Lee Philemon.
She is survived by: her children, Dwight Philemon (Margie), Larry Philemon and Joyce Preslar (Mitchell); her daughter-in-law Frances; and her sister Mary Greene. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Euto Baptist Church (6019 NC-205, Marshville, NC 28103).
