It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Arlene Smith (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Judy Arlene Smith to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Mason Reynolds Elms and Sallie Rowell Elms; and her siblings, Ervin Elms, Dolly Howard, Doris Herring and Nancy Baker.

She is survived by : her husband Ted Smith; her daughters, Yvette Smith of Charlotte, Macie Myers (Mike) of Monroe, Jessica Smith of Marshville and Jennifer Smith of Marshville; and her grandchildren, Stephen McCain (Mandy), Ted McCain (Vickie), Tyler Champion, Jeremy Champion (Bethany) and Christian Myers. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the West Monroe Baptist Church (1212 Icemorlee St, Monroe, NC 28110). Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
