He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Keith Rupel and Constance Cisco Rupel; and his brother David Rupel. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Rupel; his children, Nick Rupel (Taylor Laytham) and Cassie Rupel (Joe Sander); and his siblings, Robert Rupel and Tammy Smith. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
