He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen Cauthen and Mildred Lee Privett. He is survived by: his sons, Philip P. Cauthen (Andrea L. Cauthen) and Alan L. Cauthen; and his grandchildren, Alan Michael Cauthen and Cassie Marie Pennell. He is also survived by his family, friends.
